Started coaching in 2022 at March Kanata Skating Club
Program Assistant for 4 years (2017-2021)

 

Coaching Philosophy:

I believe that skating should be a joyful experience for all types of skaters. As a coach, I am
committed to make this goal a reality by allowing skaters to develop their new found skills in a
fun and educational way.

 

Qualifications/Certifications:

Instruction Stream:

  • NCCP Skate Canada Canskate (in-training)
  • Standard First Aid CPR C + AED

 

Competition Stream:

  • 2021-22 Gold Provincial Ice Dance Star 6/7
  • Passed: Star 4 Freeskate program, Star 4 Freeskate Elements, Star 9 Skills and Star 9B
    Blues dance
  • 5 year experience with synchronized skating

 

Professional Highlights:

  •  Earth Science program at Carleton University （September 2022- )
  • Completed high school with a French immersion Certificate and achieved a level B2 on
    the DELF French certification test
  • Experience working with families and children (e.g. worked at the la Nichée community
    center supporting families)

 

Personal Interests:

I enjoy outdoor activities such as skiing, skating, biking with my loved ones as well as keeping
involved with the community by volunteering.
